Prof. Dr. med. Hans–Jürgen Kock
Prof. Dr. Hans-Jürgen Kock (Jahrgang 1958) studierte Medizin an der Freien Universität Berlin und der Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel, wo er auch promovierte. Anschließend absolvierte Kock am Universitätsklinikum in Essen seine Facharztausbildung und habilitierte auf dem Gebiet der Unfallchirurgie. Am Universitätsklinikum der RWTH Aachen war er dann Oberarzt der Unfallchirurgie. Danach studierte er berufsbegleitend Betriebswirtschaftslehre (Aufbaustudium AKAD Stuttgart), während er bei der Merck Biomaterial GmbH in Darmstadt als Abteilungsleiter Endprothetik tätig war. Im Anschluss hieran setzte er seine klinische Laufbahn als Oberarzt an der Universität Heidelberg fort und wurde 2005 Chefarzt in der Klinik für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie an den Hochtaunuskliniken in Bad Homburg und Usingen. Nach Chefarzttätigkeit am Klinikum Offenbach und an den Neckar-Odenwald-Kliniken in Mosbach und Buchen ist er von 2014 bis 2016 als Leitender Arzt am Vivantes Humboldt Klinikum Berlin tätig, wo er ein Endoprothetikzentrum etablierte. Seit Mai 2016 ist er als Chefarzt in der Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie am Klinikum Werra-Meißner tätig.
